Dr. Allison Young is a California and Nationally Board-Certified Licensed Acupuncturist who holds both a Doctorate and Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University. In addition to her training in acupuncture and TCM, she has pursued extensive studies in functional medicine, energy medicine, behavioral health, psychology, yoga, and Western herbalism, allowing her to bring a truly integrative and multidimensional approach to patient care.
Dr. Allison’s clinical passion lies in supporting fertility, women’s health, and hormonal balance through a holistic lens. She focuses on the gut–brain axis, endocrine and mitochondrial health, and the mind–body connection to help patients restore harmony and vitality. She is a firm believer in the power of natural medicine and the profound role that a calm, meditative mind state plays in achieving optimal health.

Our founder Dr Tamara Roe has been helping people conceive and build their families since 2004. With a Doctorate in Acupuncture and extensive training in integrative gynecology and fertility, Dr Tamara is recognised as an expert in her field. She collaborates with top reproductive endocrinologists in San Diego and has assisted in hundreds of IVF embryo transfers.
In addition, she has been a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM) since 2015. ABORM is an international organization pioneering best practices in acupuncture and traditional Chinese reproductive medicine. All ABORM fellows must complete hundreds of hours of study and a rigorous certification exam. Currently, there are only around 350 ABORM fellows worldwide.

Shantal Minoso is a board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist with a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine (MSAcCHM) from Pacific College of Health and Science. She brings a unique and comprehensive background that blends Traditional Chinese Medicine with functional medicine, creating individualized treatment plans that address the root causes of imbalance while supporting the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
With extensive training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional counseling, and both Eastern and biomedical diagnostic frameworks, Shantal has developed a strong foundation in lab interpretation, hormone health, metabolism, and gut function. Her clinical focus includes women’s health, fertility, perinatal and postpartum care, perimenopause, thyroid disorders, digestive health, and stress-related conditions.
During her clinical training, she deepened her functional medicine skills through hands-on experience with hormone panel assessments, blood lab analysis, and individualized supplement and nutrition strategies.
Her passion lies in offering medicine that is both evidence-based and heart-centered. She integrates her scientific training—grounded in a Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University—with a deep respect for traditional healing modalities.
